Propose a research-backed plan to improve user retention in the PeakMind app, presented in a deck of up to 10 slides.

Problem Statement

Say you are the Product Manager at Peakmind.in, and you realised that the retention rate of the app is not very good. Users are coming but not really sticking around. Your task is to improve the retention rate of the Peakmind app.

Accessing the Peakmind app

  1. Go to web.peakmind.in
  2. Sign up using the Organization code "RETAIL01"
  3. Observe the current flows of the app and understand it's value proposition and features
  4. Come up with a plan on increasing retention in the app

Your document should have the answers to the following questions

  1. What will be your process to accomplish this task as a product manager?
  2. How will you go about evaluating different ideas?
  3. What kind of research will you do?
  4. What kind of validation will you try to get?
  5. What is the final recommendation that you will make to the stakeholders on what to build to solve this problem statement
  6. What are the metrics you will measure and why?

Expected Document

  1. Create a small presentation on Google Slides/Powerpoint/Miro/Figma. Your presentation should have a maximum of 10 slides.
    1. You may however attach an appendix document of upto 10 pages if you need to fit in extra research
  2. Detail out the steps including any and all research you've undertaken. Be specific and precise.
  3. Back your proposal with reasoning preferably grounded in data. Avoid vague statements without any justification
  4. Figma Prototypes (low-fidelity) will fetch you brownie-points. Only do it once you've finished the earlier steps. Do NOT skip the earlier steps
